Founders Appreciation Dinner & Distinguished Service Award

The Foundation will host an appreciation dinner for donors who've contributed at the $1250.00 Founder level or who have given $1250.00 cumulatively for the year. The highlight of each Founders Appreciation Dinner evening is the presentation of the year's Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes volunteer service to Ashland Community Hospital and the Foundation distinguished by length, intensity, and significant accomplishment. Past recipients meet each year and choose the new honoree.

In 2008 the Foundation recognized Dave Bernard who served as Chair of the Ashland Community Hospital Board of Directors from 2005 through 2008. He is currently serving his ninth year as the Immediate Past Chair and will go off the Board at the end of June 2009. His service to ACH and the Foundation has been above and beyond, and for that we thank him with our most prestigious award.
