Give a Gift From Your Heart and Lend a Hand
Most non-profit hospitals across the country include employee campaigns in their mix of fundraising activities. Our employees and volunteers are the people who are in the best position to understand the benefits we offer our community as well as our needs as an organization.
In order to successfully raise funds from the community, we need to demonstrate the commitment of our family: employees, volunteers, physicians and the members of the Hospital and Foundation Boards.
In 2014, the Foundation is raising money through the Employee Campaign to support the Employee Assistance Fund. The fund was established in 2003 to provide financial assistance to Asante Ashland Community Hospital employees in hardship situations. The fund is administered confidentially through Human Resources.
Many of our co-workers face unforeseen emergencies each year. It can happen to anyone of us, at any time. The fund is supported solely through donations.
It is comforting to know that help is available when our lives are suddenly turned upside down. We may need help with unexpected medical or funeral expenses. Or we may need something as basic as food or shelter. Whatever the reason, the Emergency Assistance Fund is available to us in times of crisis.
There are many ways to give including payroll deduction, check, and by credit card. All donations are tax-deductible. Donations of all sizes are appreciated. Download a giving form today.
Everyone who donates will have their name included on a special recognition plaque, unless asked to be anonymous.
