Donna spent her childhood and formative years of her life in Las Vegas, Nevada. She grew up in an entrepreneurial family and worked several years in management and sales as part of a close-knit team in running the family’s large, successful retail sales business. She later applied her management skills in running the front office of her ex-husbands Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) medical practice.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Later she moved to Whidbey Island, Washington where she spent 10 years teaching and substitute teaching at the K-12 level. While substitute teaching she enjoyed the flexibility allowing her to travel to developing countries and actively participate in the early stages of her ex’s effort in launching his medical, humanitarian foundation — Global ENT Outreach.
In 2008 Donna moved to Ashland, Oregon. Here she met her wonderful, husband George (aka Tony) – a retired FBI agent who specialized in Soviet counter-intelligence and financial fraud. She and Tony love animals and their family includes an Australian Shepherd and her growing herd of adopted cats.
Donna is an outgoing, passionate people person who loves Ashland and is becoming increasingly active in the community. She is a member of P.E.O., and also a long-established book study club. She recognizes the importance of Asante Ashland Community Hospital to the area. As a member of the board she looks forward to contributing to the foundation and its worthy goals.
