Kathleen was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science. Shortly after receiving her degree, she moved to San Francisco where she began her unlikely career as a Real Estate Appraiser. In 1991, after 10 years in the Bay Area, Kathleen, her husband and two young sons moved to Ashland where she continued to grow her Real Estate Appraisal business and perfect her parenting skills.
After spending several years researching more personally fulfilling career options, Kathleen joined the Ashland Community Hospital Foundation in 2011. Here, she has found a second career as a Development Officer which offers her the opportunity to use her passion for community service and her strengths as an extrovert to further the mission of the Foundation.
Currently, Kathleen is a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), co-chair of the Oregon Nonprofit Leaders Conference (ONLC), and is a volunteer Neighborhood Coordinator with the Ashland Food Project.
