Recognition for Longevity Giving:
The Bernard Society was founded in 2013 as a way to honor those who have contributed to Ashland Community Hospital Foundation for 10 or more consecutive years. The Society is named for Dick and Jean Bernard whose generous support has continued uninterrupted for over 30 years now. Bernard Society members are recognized on our Wall of Gratitude and in our newsletter, unless you prefer to remain anonymous. Bernard Society members are also invited to the Foundation’s Annual Founders Appreciation Dinner.
Partners in Caring
Partners in Caring was founded in 2015 as a way to honor volunteers who have contributed their valuable time to Asante Ashland Community Hospital for 10 or more years. Partners in Caring will be recognized on our Wall of Gratitude and in our newsletter, unless you prefer to remain anonymous. Partners in Caring are also invited to the Foundation’s Annual Founders Appreciation Dinner.
Other Special Recognition:
Individuals or groups receiving gifts of $1,000 or more in their honor or memory beginning in January 2010 are recognized on the Wall of Gratitude and in our newsletter.
Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award is presented to individuals when their service to the community through Asante Ashland Community Hospital and/or Ashland Community Hospital Foundation has been clearly distinguished by length, intensity, devotion and significant accomplishment. They have given the Hospital an important place in their lives. The work of these individuals has resulted in accomplishments of great significance for the Hospital and its health care mission.
Nominations for the award are accepted from members of the Asante Ashland Community Hospital and Ashland Community Hospital Foundation Boards of Directors. The recipient is selected by the Distinguished Service award committee, which includes past award recipients. The Distinguished Service Award is presented annually at the Founders Appreciation Dinner. Recipients are recognized on a special plaque, located on the first floor of the hospital.
