There are many ways that you can get involved and transform the health and wellbeing of the community, including our local hospital. Please contact us at (541) 482-0367 if you would like to learn more about our current initiatives and recognition opportunities.
Community Health Initiatives
The focus on community health is changing when, where and how healthcare is delivered. Prevention and wellness are becoming even bigger priorities and partnerships are more important than ever.
Gifts to the Community Health Initiatives Fund will benefit hospital and community-based programs providing high-impact, innovative and equitable approaches to health and wellness in Ashland, Talent and Phoenix.
As the delivery of care in the United States transforms, we believe this is an exciting time in healthcare. A greater emphasis is being placed on affordability, equity, quality, safety and the patient experience.
To prepare for the future and promote the health of the whole community we have a Healthcare Innovation Fund. We want to have the resources at the ready to move quickly and strategically to support innovative approaches to care. Your investment will help shape the future of healthcare in our community.
Ashland Community Hospital Foundation has been a champion for Ashland’s hospital since 1977. We understand the value of having expert care close to home when you need it most. Contributions will be used to support general needs or the hospital department or program most meaningful to you. For example, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Services, Family Birth Center, Inpatient Care, School Nurse Program, and Surgical Services are all areas where your gift can have an impact. Rest assured gifts will stay in our community and directly benefit our local hospital.
William G. & Ruth T. Evans Endowed Nursing Scholarship
The Evans Endowed Nursing Scholarship was established in 2002 through the generous contribution of Mrs. Ruth T. Evans. The scholarship supports registered nursing students enrolled at Rogue Community College (RCC) and Oregon Health Science University, Ashland Campus.
In addition, graduates of the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at RCC receive scholarships to cover their licensing and exam fees so they can move quickly into the workforce.
Nurses are essential. A nursing degree is expensive and often students graduate thousands of dollars in debt. With your investment we can support nursing students now and into the future.
Sustainability Fund of Ashland Community Hospital Foundation (ACHF)
We have operated as an independent 501c3 charitable organization throughout our history. During that time our prudent board of directors and staff have guided the foundation to a position of financial strength.
As our foundation grows in new and innovative directions a primary goal is to maintain our long-term sustainability. Contributions will ensure the important work of supporting healthcare needs in our community will continue for years to come.
If you would like to make an inspirational gift to support one of our current giving opportunities, or learn more about how you can partner with Ashland Community Hospital Foundation to improve the health of your community, please call us at (541) 482-0367.
