Lights for Life

Lights for Life is the Ashland Community Hospital Foundation’s annual celebration of life. It was first introduced in 1987 as a way to combine the spirit of the holidays with Ashland’s extraordinary sense of community. Over the years, it has become a cherished tradition of remembrance, love and thanks.

Lights for Life contributions can honor and thank someone special in your life, they can reach out to someone who has suffered a loss, or they can highlight a joyful occasion in traditional or creative ways:

  • Commemorating the birth of a child or grandchild
  • Remembering the loss of a loved one or pet
  • Honoring your parent, spouse or partner
  • Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or retirement
  • Thanking a local customer, service provider or caregiver
  • Expressing gratitude to someone whose extra effort helped you or a loved one

Gifts to Lights for Life support the work of Asante Ashland Community Hospital. When you donate you will help patients right here in your community, and perhaps someone close to you.

In Recognition of Your Gift

The person or family you are honoring will promptly receive a Lights for Life holiday card. The amount of your contribution will remain confidential.

You and your honorees will be recognized in the Ashland Daily Tidings, Medford Mail Tribune, and the Ashland Sneak Preview and Talent News & Review in the January edition, unless you choose to be anonymous. For full recognition please donate by November 20.

Throughout the month of December your donation will be symbolized by lights on our Lights for Life trees in Ashland and Talent.

To make your tax-deductible contribution you can donate online, send a check to PO Box 98, Ashland, OR 97520, or call the Foundation Office at (541) 482-0367 extension 2.

In this season of giving, we hope you will remember your friends and loved ones through your contribution to Lights for Life.

If you are interested in additional recognition opportunities please consider giving as a Community Partner. For more information call Stephanie Roland at (541) 482-0367 x2.
